Farmer’s Pick has been part of the Ottawa for more than 25 years, and since the first day we opened our doors, we have been proud to support the Ottawa community any way we can. The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) is an incredible place that touches so many families in the Ottawa area. People throughout Easter Ontario rely on CHEO—who doesn’t have a friend or loved one who has needed medical help from the fantastic people at CHEO? With CHEO’s Food for the Fight campaign right around the corner, Farmer’s Pick is proud to support CHEO and help raise money for this important initiative.
Ending Child Hunger
The goal of the Food for the Fight campaign is to help end kids cancer. No child should have to suffer from cancer, and the goal of the Food for the Fight campaign is to fund research and finally put an end to all kinds of kids cancer. It may seem like a daunting goal, but together, we can really make a difference. Purchase a Food for the Fight shopping bag and use it each time you do your groceries at Farmer’s Pick. Each time a bag is used, we will donate a $1.00 to the CHEO initiative. The more you shop, the more money goes to CHEO so they can help end kids cancer.
Making a Difference
It’s amazing what can happen when the good people of Ottawa work together. We were part of the Food for the Fight campaign last year and were able to raise $1577.00 for cancer research, and we have our loyal and generous customers to thank for it. We are determined to beat that total for 2018 and raise even more money for CHEO, so come down to Farmer’s Pick, get your Food for the Fight shopping bag and help us raise money for an incredible cause.
