Brother’s Alfonso and Johnny Curcio love food. Alfonso has been involved in the food and grocery world since he was 14-years-old, starting out as a part-time employee working at Top Banana. He quickly worked his way up to a full-time position then moved on to open new franchises for the company. With plenty of experience under his belt (many say he is the best produce manager in the business), Alfonso went on to co-own a Top Banana store then was given the opportunity to realize his dream—Alfonso purchased the rest of the Top Banana store from his partner, changed the name, and opened the doors of Farmer’s Pick in 1992.
